Front Cover: Mock-up 2

Compared to my first try for my magazine front cover, this would be the one i most prefer, mainly because it fits my genres more-so, looks more professional and most of all I like the title down the side. It seems more apt as the title is 'Down The Wire', however there are still some downsides to the mock. Once again the picture appears overly stretched and spoils the whole appearance some what. Additonally there's something about the cover that strikes me as unprofessional, maybe due to having only one picture or the contrast in colours. Overall though, I think it is quite pleasing to the eye and could attract the attention of my target audience (14-20, mixed sex). Where the light shines under the writing, it almost looks as though there is a light shining on her belt and it is reflecting, it is however just a colour behined the text to make the text stand out a bit more and makes it a little different than other magazines around.
