Although this double page spread is about Disney rather than music it is still useful to analyse. The two sample pages out of the magazine are quite aesthetically pleasing with the bright colourful images and writing, and the layout of the spread.

If we look at the images on the two pages we can see that there are borders around the edges which almost separate them from the rest of the pictures. Not only this though, but the images on the second page look like they are on a film strip, this is due to where the white line is placed and the size of the pictures. As you will notice, the images are of relevance to the article and show Disney characters and the places you would expect to see them. All of these images are very bright and almost give a happy feeling out because of the types of imagery.

The font style used for the title (‘Welcome to Disney Village’) is quite a nice font for younger kids who enjoy Disney experiences unlike a forty year old business man who is more serious and probably would not enjoy going to these kind of events. Another thing about the writing is the colours that are used; the title entices you quite easily because it uses a strong primary colour, red. The rest of the writing is then written in black writing, and as it is against a white background it stands out, however the font size is pretty small and there is quite a lot of room left unused so the only improvement I would say is to make the writing a little bit bigger, especially the website in the bottom right corner, as at a quick glance I would have missed that, as it is not a great colour either against the yellow/orange kind of colour of ‘Pluto’, the Disney character featured.
