The first three front covers I analysed can be shown below and are music magazines, this is more of a gossip and fashion magazine though. I decided to do a different kind of magazine because when I create my own it is not based on just one genre, it is based on many. It is also supposed to have a gossip section so I thought a mixture of magazines would be better to analyse rather than all music.

The first big change in the magazine compared to the others is the use of colour, as before the music magazines used duller/darker colours whereas this magazine uses vibrant/bright colours which attracts attention easier in my opinion, the the downfall in my view would be the use of too many colours, so it seems a little overdone and could seem like different people have worked on the frontcover and not just one person or a group of people working together.

Another difference is the font style for the title as in a lot of the magazines it is written in block capitals, in this magazine though, the font is mainly in lttle letters and not covered up a lot by an image of someone like the music magazines even though you would still know the name of it if it was covered up.

A few similarities though are the borders around the images to separate them from different articles so make them stand out more. Another would be the actual use of images, however on the music magazines it seems like one big picture of a group/artist on the front whereas in this type there are a few quite big pictures.
