Double Page Spread Final!

In my final design for the double-page spread I have eventually decided on adding some colour to the background as I have mentioned before how plain it came across even though there was in fact quite a lot of information, over the mock-ups I have slowly been improving parts of the spread, making it more aesthetically pleasing with the colours, designs and the layout. As can be seen, there is a white dotted border around the images which has followed through from the front cover, and the contents page. Even though this is not very visable on the white background, it can be seen on the edges of the images and gives them more attention, making them stand out a little more. I deliberately used a light green colour on the background of my design as it draws you in more to the actual details on the pages, it also appears to be more of an outdoors and natural colour, and of course it is rather light due to the text on top of it. Apart from that, I am fairly happy with the layout and the tilt on the images as it seems more diverse than other magazines using straight images and follows through from my contents page, having said that though the magazine is still overall conventional. Additionally I have also left the writing split into three different colours so it is easier to define parts of the text if a reader wanted to read certain aspects, such as the actual questions or one person's reply. I will however, if I feel it could do with a few more improvements being made hopefully try to actually improve it.
